Meet Your Host

Hi! I'm Sarah Dolliver, founder of InnerVantage. I'm glad you've come to visit and hope you join our online community for inner-directed individuals: those who focus inward to restore. Exploring the InnerVantage resources and experiencing our community of like-minded people will be a life-changing and self-affirming choice for you.

Throughout my life, I have seen that how I thrive is radically different from most others around me. I made many attempts to copy what worked for others only to fail miserably, becoming frustrated and worn out in the process. Because these other people were so different from me, I was not connecting to my inner-directed gifts, talents and strengths, what I now call our Natural EdgeSM.

By far, the two most life-changing discoveries I made were my strong introversion and that I am a highly sensitive person (HSP). These findings have lead to profound, positive change in my ability to thrive using the attributes I once considered a hindrance.

Well into my 40's, I stopped trying to "do it their way" and dedicated myself to find out how to do what was best for me so I could participate fully in life by doing it my way. Since making my own inner connections, I'm calmer, full of inner peace and in the flow of life, experiencing synchronicities and many new opportunities each day. Much of what I went through and how I made those connections is in my Inner Adventurer blog. You can find the deeper and more personal story here:

Many other parts of my journey can be found in the posts there, too. Just click on the link on the left of your screen.

I began pioneering what it means to be "inner-directed" from these personal successes along with the experiences of other souls who shared my temperment. This is how InnerVantage was born. And it's the gift I give to you.

How I Can Help You
What are your dreams? Your deepest desires that you don't have in your life yet? Your soul's purpose that you are meant to live? Who is this special person called "You"?

Every person struggles with these issues. But, it's harder for the inner-directed person to get clarity and comfort around them. We feel the inner tension they create so much more acutely than most other folks do. Yet, we don't have to suffer from it.

You've likely tried on your own to relieve that tension. I imagine you've attended workshops or seminars, tried personal growth programs or read self-help books. Chances are they haven't created the shifts you so deeply desire. Why? Because most of that advice is coming from someone who is not like you. We flourish when we follow role models who are like us.

That's where I come in. I'm like you and I've lived it. If you want to finally find comfort in your highly sensitive body, I can help. If you want to finally be the most authentic version of yourself that you could be, I can help. If you are frustrated by trying to live what you believe is your purpose, I can help.

Why do you benefit from help? Because when you are trying to advance and evolve, you can become wrapped only in your own thoughts, things can get tangled up and you can lose the will to try any longer. I act as your catalyst and guide to seeing a new "You" with different eyes. I create the safe spaces where you find the freedom to embrace and trust your truest self.

And I help you see what you cannot see on your own. Sometimes, it is simply missed. Other times, you sense something is there, but cannot put it into words or put your finger on it. And then, there are times when you must see things you don't want to acknowledge. All that's easier done with a partner, like me, who can offer you a larger perspective. I am your wholehearted supporter, wherever you are on your path to greatness.

My style is warm, compassionate, supportive and patient as well as intuitive, insightful and direct. I readily share my insights and reflect back to you how you are showing up. While meeting you where you are each time we talk, my work is strongly grounded in practical, identifiable outcomes.

When we work together, you grow. I believe in your potential and can help you unlock the secret gifts you are here to give.

My Work and Life
I've created a life for myself that was only a dream just a few short years ago. After lifelong residence in the Northeastern US, my husband of over 30 years, Jim, and our cat, Kashmir, and I successfully relocated to Sedona, AZ, in late 2004. This act of big trust in the Universe has worked out so wonderfully and I relish my adopted state and new life here.

I enjoy hiking, yoga and meditation. I also enjoy playing backgammon, a wide variety of music, cats of all sizes and healthful cooking. I'm also a raving fan of the Grand Canyon and feel fortunate to be able to visit and hike there several times a year. And I always seem to have my nose in more than one book at a time, somehow keeping everything straight!

I've successfully been self-employed since 1992, first as a consultant to the financial services industry in New England and now as an insightful mentor for inner-directed individuals.

Through extensive personal experimentation along with a deeply-rooted understanding of and desire to help our type, I bring you the best practices of what I've found works best.

I am a graduate of Bentley College (in Waltham, MA) with a BS in Management. I have continued my professional development by graduating from Coach U and CoachVille's Graduate School of Coaching.
